Out-of-Network Insurance Information

At Raising Brave Kids, we are considered an out-of-network provider. This means that if your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement for our services. Typically, insurance companies that offer out-of-network benefits will cover between 50% to 75% of the cost per session. We are happy to provide the necessary documentation to help you receive reimbursement for our services.

We recommend reaching out to your insurance provider to ask about your "out-of-network" benefits. Here are some helpful questions to ask:

• Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

• If I choose to work with a registered associate who is under supervision from a licensed clinician are services eligible for reimbursement?

• Is there a deductible I need to meet each year before I can start receiving reimbursement for sessions?

• What amount will I be reimbursed for the following services?

  • CPT Code 90834 (follow up child therapy sessions)

As a result of the 2022 No Surprises Act, it's important for you to know your rights when it comes to understanding healthcare treatment costs. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected charges for medical services.

• Good Faith Estimate: Following your initial appointment with us, your Good Faith Estimate will be uploaded to your client portal. This document outlines the estimated costs of your treatment.

• Requesting an Estimate: You can request a Good Faith Estimate from our intake coordinator or your provider at any time, whether before you schedule a service or during your ongoing treatment.

• Disputing Unexpected Bills: If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges.
